It may not feel like it now, but Spring is right around the corner. The forecast is saying more snow for us in Southern New England next week, but we are looking forward to when the tulips make their appearance and we can finally venture out of our house without our snow boots and a down coat. Spring starts “brunch season” with Easter, Passover, bridal showers, baby showers, Mother’s Day and so many more days to celebrate.
What better way to celebrate Spring than entertaining with friends and family? The problem is, we aren’t all Martha Stewarts and it can be time-consuming to come up with a brunch menu and plan. The three of us at Rhode Explorers are all about making women’s lives easier and that is why we chose Providence’s Easy Entertaining to host our next event, a “Brunch Entertaining Made Easy” cooking class.
Easy Entertaining is going to teach the Rhode Explorers four make-ahead brunch dishes including lightened up Strada, French toast casserole & more, just in time for Easter the next weekend.
The class will include a mimosa & samples of each recipe, what is better than that? Well, it does get better! Easy Entertaining has graciously offered any Rhode Explorers present at the class a 25% off discount on any future classes booked that night. They will also be announcing a new series of classes to us, before they are announced to the public! We love the folks at Easy Entertaining, especially that they source 70% of their products from a 250 mile radius. These ladies (and gents) truly support our local economy and we are happy to work with them.
So grab some girlfriends and come have a mimosa with us while learning (and tasting) some delicious new recipes for your entertaining arsenal.
The class is taking place on Sunday, March 29th at 12:00pm and will last one hour. The price for this event is $45 and includes tax. You can buy your ticket online here.
Easy Entertaining is located at 166 Valley St., Building #10, Inside Rising Sun Mills, Providence, RI 02909. Please see the map below for driving directions:
